Bosch Intrusion Engineering
Common Platform
The Bosch intrusion engineering common platform is a collection of web services that eventually will surface all aspects of our intrusion enterprise. Our goal is that offering access to all of our business objects via a comprehensive web API, we can both simplify application development as well as extend our product offerings into new areas of business.
It is a work in progress, as we add new services for new projects and as schedule permits. Today we have production level services in the following functional areas:
A graph into the entire realm of intrusion. Graph APIs let us craft high performing and specific API results for any business need. Graphs can be provided by mashing up other services or direct data access.
Manages all devices in an enterprise. Unique and global device identity for all devices (Bosch and others).
Supplies connection information to any device. This includes Cloud Relay (cloudID), direct IP, mobile SIM, and VPN protected devices.
Manages Mobile SIM lifecycle for any supported Mobile Network Operator (MNO) and today supports Verizon and AT&T. This service allows Bosch to act as a virtual Mobile Network Operator (MVNO)
Manages a Bosch security dealer into the service space.
Let our dealer manage their own contact information and profile to their own customers.
Allows cloud based control of installed RPS instances per dealer. Also captures RPS usage telemetry for installed base analysis.
Allows cloud based control of installed Osprey instances per dealer. Also captures RPS usage telemetry for installed base analysis.
Captures SW CSR telemetry for analysis.
Publish and Messaging Service. Support SMS to any phone number, and outbound email.
Allows for put and get to named storage queue for application usage.
Common logging provider for all services and application. Allows tracking of workflow by common transaction ids.
